How to read this profile
- Figures come from the GEM Adult Population Survey, weighted to represent adults aged 18–64, and match GEM's published figures.
- Each figure has a 95% confidence interval that accounts for the survey weights. Figures based on fewer than 100 answers are not shown.
- Peers are economies in the same income group that took part in GEM the same year. The typical range is the middle half of their values (25th to 75th percentile).
- This is a cross-sectional survey: it shows associations, not causes. It cannot tell whether a policy worked.
